Brenda Crites’ granddaughter, Marisa, is in the SC Youth Challenge Academy. She is doing well, but could use some love, support and encouragement. A card or note to let her know that she is being prayed for and supported in her journey would mean so much to her. If you would like to mail Marisa a card or letter, please mail it to: Cadet Marisa Aleshire

The Clothing Closet has moved to the small house next to St. John’s Episcopal Church (where Manna Meal is located) on Quarrier Street. Now named the Back Door, it currently has no drop-off receptacles. Hours of operation are 12:00-3:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, as well as 10:30-1:00 on the first Sunday of the month. It continues to work with Covenant House to give away clothing to the needy, as well as operate as a thrift store. You may drop off items at the church and we will deliver them for you.
The Drop-In Center at Covenant House needs travel size containers of soap, shampoo, conditioner and deodorant.
The Clothing Closet needs men’s jeans and tennis shoes. Socks and underwear for men and women are also needed. Thank you for your donations!
